By "Correct" we mean "Does it list the internal IP address of the XI system?"

I had an issue recently where someone was seeing a 1-minute delay, and it was because their Program URL was set to their public-facing URL, which meant that each time Nagios had to refer to itself, it would have to go out to the Internet at which point it was blocked coming back in. The External URL is the public-facing part.

we only have an internal URL for it.

no there is not. This is only for checking internal servers and only available internally. no proxies, no firewall.

This issue only happened after the upgrade.
