connecting Nagios to CMDBuild database

Post by tk0485 »

We're currently researching the use of a CMDBuild or any CMDB database to hold our list of hosts/services in a shared location that is visible by all the member of the team. Also, we need to push the records from our cmdb database to Nagios or any monitoring tool that we might use in the future. I was wondering if anyone has some exposure to cmdb databases and willing to share their experience on how to use them? is it the best choice to take? is CMDBuild a good option?

Any idea or advice can help. Thanks in advance!

We don't have any official integration with CMDBuild at this point, and I couldn't find much information about it online. From the sounds of what I read though, it should be possible.

Here are a couple links I found online that may help you -

You're welcome. Do you mind if I close this thread out as this has been answered?
