No Data / Charts under Reports tab

Post by shp143 »

Hi,
Recently I have updated Nagiox XI virtual appliance(VMware) to 5.2.3, After the upgrade we are not able to see data / charts under reports for all active directory users. When I login through local ID reports are visible. I have tried to remove and re add the user but no luck. Can some one help in this issue? We have production server cut over by end of this month.

Are you getting any errors in /var/log/httpd/error_log when it fails for the AD user?

We haven't been able to recreate the issue in-house.
What was the version of Nagios XI that you used prior to upgrading to 5.2.3? How did you upgrade - from the web UI or by running the "./upgrade" script? Did you at any point backup XI and restore to a new server?
Can you email us the "profile.zip" to [email protected]? We may need to move this to our email ticketing system. Thanks!

We did two upgrades after deployment. I do not recall the previous version. I think it was 5.2.1 and upgraded using ./upgrade script(Web UI upgrade failed to download the product). Application was working after that first upgrade.
Recently we upgraded from 5.2.2 to 5.2.3 and it is having this error.

Can you upload the /tmp/upgrade.log file so we can review it for any errors?

The upgrade log is clean.

Can you login to the XI server in a console and run the following commands and post the results?

Code: Select all

su nagios
ls -l /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/checkresults
ls -l /usr/local/nagios/var/share

What rights do the AD users have setup in the XI GUI?
Can you change one of them to Admin in XI and see if that account can get data for the Availability report?
Are all of the reports broken?
Can that user see valid data on the Host Details and Service Details screen?
