Notifications via Email Alerts Not Going Out

I have configured notification settings, yet users can't get email alerts. Please see screenshot attachment.

If you go to the Email settings, can you send yourself a test message? Were notifications ever working?

Can you navigate to Admin -> Manage Email Settings and send us a screenshot of this page? Also, at that page - what is the result when you try to send a test email?

Are you looking to use sendmail, or SMTP in your environment?

Hello,

I am actually using SMTP, I get notifications from the system but on only few occasions with a good number of misses. Also, of the few notifications I receive I only get FLAPPING and UP alerts. I dont get others such as DOWN, UNREACHABLE, DOWNTIME etc.

Do you see any errors in the phpmailer.log?

There looks to be authentication issues, to clarify, if you send a test email now does it come through to your inbox?
