The spacing and deletion will need to be handled by a dev - would you mind opening an Issue on our BPI GitHub page? https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/nagiosbpi/issues

This will get it on their radar immediately.

done.
I'll keep testing as far as I can. It is definitely a workaround for the issue here, still it won't follow the parent/child chain as I expect, but it offers just a great feature for our upcoming service desk system, where nagios core is used as a reporting tool

I did and reported https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/nagiosbpi/issues 3 issues. Are you sure it is still maintained? Latest commits are far behind in 2011.

I'll reach out to the devs and see if they can send some attention that way. It's not exactly a commercial flagship product, so that would explain the lack of development, but we do still support it.

Played long enough with this thing and this is not the magic we would have. So close this one, my issue has no solution :( Will try to work around this one.
