Configuring Child (not Parent) Relationships

Post by shorn »

Hi,

I know Nagios XI supports parent-child relationships. Currently you need to go into a node and configure it's parent relationship. This process can be a bit time consuming if there are a lot of relationships to setup.

Is it somehow possible to tell the parent directly all the child nodes it has?

Cheers,
Simon

If you have the Enterprise Edition features this is possible by going to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Bulk Modifications, and clicking the button to change parents. Otherwise if you do not have these features it will offer to start a free 60-day trial right on that page.
