Suggestion - Hostgroup / Service Group Summary

Post by Box293 »

I would like it when I click a service group to be taken to the more "modern" view.

Here is a portion of the Service Group screen:
1 Service Group List.png
When I click on "All Hosts with the Symantec Virus Definitions check" I am taken to the following screen:
2 When I click on a service group.png
When I click on the 25 OK link I am taken to the more "modern" view:
3 When I click on the OK link.png
This is cool however it is a filtered view and not all the objects, this is what I really want to see .... on next post, limited to 3 attachments

I like this view because I can see the status information for each object.

Somehow the current view seems old and doesn't have the same feel as the rest of the interface.

This is a result of using the "Unified" views for the hostgroup and servicegroup dashlets. This setting can be changed in the Admin->Performance Settings page. The "out of place" stylesheet is actually the Nagios Core interface being called. The "unified" view from Nagios Core doesn't use AJAX, so there are performance benefits from using the unified view, but the look is different from the rest of XI.

Yes I remember I enabled the use unified servicegroup screens as the performance impact was noticable. Not much I can do here then.

Cheers
