how to enter user/contact's cell phone number

Hello,

I would like to deploy notification settings using template. Everything worked fine except that I can't find in the web interface how to enter cell phone number for my users/contacts. It isn't available in Contacts (where I thought it should be), and it will only display in Users once I entered mine through "my account settings". But I can't find a place to enter for others.

The contacts part will use the notify-host-by-email commands, where as the xi_notification_handlers end up using a different place. Click the username you're logged in as in the top right, then click 'Notification Methods', select the Mobile Text (SMS) tab, and enter the cell phone number / carrier there.

Thanks for the reply, but that was how I entered my cell phone number. As administrator, how do I enter other people's cell phone numbers to set them up with notification?

You need to login as the user to do this. You can masquerade as the user which allows you to login as them without a password:

Admin > Users > Manage Users
Click the Masquerade As icon (eyeball) for XXXXX
Click Continue
Now you are logged in as XXXXX
Click the username in the top right corner
Under Notification Options click Notification Methods
Click the Mobile Text (SMS) tab
