I will review that document. May I recommend a hyper link on the Wizards page that points to this document? How would I have ever known about it (respectfully asked)?

You make a good point. I put in a feature request to include that document as part of the wizard (Internal ID 9290). It would definitely be helpful :)

There is no need. During Step 1 of the wizard, you can click on the "Help" button in the upper right corner. A new window will pop up with some links to videos/docs.

Yes, I agree but (as stupid as this may sound) I don't think that when I run a wizard that I have to read a document *ahead* of time to know how to set it up. The wizard *should* do the setup and if something is missing it will tell me. I shouldn't have to read a document *before* running the wizard. So isn't that what a wizard (hence the name wizard) should do?

If its a wizard then it should be smart to tell me, if it can whats wrong, and if it fails *then* refer me to a document.

Really the only thing the wizard could not do right now would be to configure the remote Windows machine, because it would need the credentials and a way to automate the WMI setup. Certainly possible, but just not in the product currently. Definitely agree though, the document could be better advertised and in fact we do a good job of this in the SNMP Trap wizard:

Detects the problem, gives a warning with documentation. I'll make sure to update the feature request submitted by @rkennedy to include this as a reference.

I agree on the SNMP trap screen. Please do add the autoconfig for the windows server. It would make my monitoring agentless much easier.

BTW, Is there a powershell script already written that might do all the work on the remote Windows server?

Didn't find anything on the Exchange, and we don't have anything internally that I am aware of. If one existed, we would certainly point people to it.
