NagiosGraph - Host, Service and Data Sets menus empty

We've had a new Nagios (4.1.1) server installed and running for around a year now. I've also installed NagiosGraph (1.5.2), NagiosMobile, Check-MK, NRPE, WMIC and EPICS onto the Nagios Server to replace an outdated monitoring server. Both servers have been monitoring the estate in tandem for a number of months now.

Recently, we've noticed that the menus on the new server are not being populated in the drop downs across the top of the show.cgi webpage (https://<server>/nagiosgraph/cgi-bin/show.cgi). On the old server, these are populated with Hosts, and Services as expected. Also, if you click on the + (Plus) icon at the top right, the Data Sets are populated on the old server, but not the new one.

The page source looks fine for both servers - the 'menudata' arrays are populated for hosts and services on the pages from boths servers, it's just not getting populated into the drop down menus.

Would anyone here have any pointers as t what the issue may be?
