Hi,
We have customers that monitor some of their own Services of which our NOC team don't need to see on their dash. Our NOC team have Fusion but need to view all customer severs in 'Host Status'.
If I add the 'NOC Contact Group' as a contact to the host, they see all the associated services - some of which they don't need to see.
Is there a way of giving NOC a a view of all servers is 'Host Status' but without giving them visibility of all the Services on the host?
We are running NagiosXI 5.2.9
Thanks,
Can a user view all Hosts but not all there Services?

You could create a contact group NOC and a place holder service using the check_dummy command. Associated that service with the NOC group and every host you want visible. Is there a way of giving NOC a a view of all servers is 'Host Status' but without giving them visibility of all the Services on the host?
If you associate a contact to a host, every service will be visible, so you'll need to only assign granular permissions to services for these purposes.

Do you have any further questions, or are we good to mark this thread as resolved?
