Contact not receiving notifications

I am running the latest version Nagios XI 5.4.0. I have a Universal Distribution group setup in our Active Directory which I manually created as a contact within Nagios using this AD group email address. I then created a contact group and added this new contact, the universal distribution AD group, to this contact group. I assigned this Nagios contact group to various services which I believed worked before this latest upgrade but can't validate that. I had one of our Business Units ask me why they didn't get notified and I could see that Nagios was aware of the issue. I then added each individual contact to the contact group and they received the notifications. I don't understand why the AD group that I have as a Nagios contact isn't working. Is there anything I can troubleshoot within Nagios to see if Nagios XI attempted to send the message to our smtp relay server? I didn't know if you all still had a previous version running to test this.

First make sure you understand the difference between a user and a contact:

If you have conflicting setups or inaccurate information in one, you can get inaccurate results.

If you think you have everything setup properly, please do this:

XI > Admin > System Profile > Download Profile

Please include the zip file in your response. You can PM myself or other support personnel if you have privacy concerns.

Also include the names of the objects misbehaving.

Profile received. Is a "Universal Distribution group" a mailing list?

The first thing I notice from your profile is the DB has at least one crashed table. Please run through the following document. After everything comes back clean, try and reproduce the original problem.

Yes, I ran the script so I'll see if this corrects the problem by forcing a critical alert on a test system and validate the group receives the notification.

Please give us an update if this resolved your issue. DB issues can cause host of other seemingly unrelated issues.
