Availability report/timeperiods

Post by clauskc »

Hi,

I have made a new time period that should be used for availability report.
I can not get it to work, works fine if I use the "workhours" time period for the report.

Have attached the time period I made, matched it up against the workhours timeperiod and looks similar but just dont work.

Can you post the host / service definition for an object to which you've assigned this?

Also, please post a copy (or PM if sensitive data) of your /usr/local/nagios/var/objects.cache - I'd like to see how everything is compiled after your templates take affect.

I have not assigned the timeperiod to any host or services, all our services are on the 24x7 timeperiod.
But figured it do not haver to be applied since the other out of the box timeperiods works when I make a availability reports with them.
Can you please show us a screenshot comparing the differences? I'd like to see what the actual problem is here.

At first, I thought you were just trying to assign a time period to a host / service to have it adjust the availability report.

Its when I use a new made timeperiod as filter in availability reports.
Have attached one with the out of the box "workhours" that work, one with no timeperiod filter and one with the timeperiod I have made and there are no difference there.

What version of Nagios XI are you running?
Can you run the Legacy Availability report using that Timeperiod and does that have the same issue?
