Cisco ONS 15454

Post by 00_kl250 »

Hey All,

I've been trying to find plugins to get basics on my cisco ONS 15454 devices, but I'm having issues finding anything out there. Specially looking for temp, cpu, mem, interface status, utilization, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Have you taken a look at the Exchange to see if anything will work over there for you? https://exchange.nagios.org/

If you can't find much, regular check_snmp may be suitable.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response. I've tried various plugins from there with no such luck. I figured i'd check to see if anyone else has gone through the pain!

Thanks!

You could probably get those metrics via SNMP. The manual seems to indicate there are some options for getting that sort of information via SNMP:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/op ... _snmp.html

Though without having one on-site to test against, it's hard to say specifically where to look. I'd start by doing an snmpwalk against the device's various trees and see what comes back.
