GUI and Apply is S L O W. Can't figure out why.

Post by dfmco »

iotop shows disk usage below 20% at the highest (<10% nominal).
top shows no I/O wait
spool directories are normal (no big number of files)
repair_databases run successfully with no change
I deleted about 8 services and the apply has been running for over 15 minutes.
Changing screens are well over 1 minute

Can you PM over a system profile? From the Nagios XI GUI, you can gather a profile via Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile.

Could you also share the outputs of the following commands executed from the CLI of your Nagios XI machine:

Code: Select all

php -r 'phpinfo();'
tail -n 40 /var/log/httpd/*_log
ps aux | grep php
ps aux | grep apache

I rebuilt from scratch and it is snappy again. Unfortunately, time was critical.

Do you want us to lock this up or leave it open in case it comes back?

Our support hours on Friday are 9am - 2pm US CT and on Monday they are 9am - 5pm US CT. I apologize for the wait.
