iotop shows disk usage below 20% at the highest (<10% nominal).
top shows no I/O wait
spool directories are normal (no big number of files)
repair_databases run successfully with no change
I deleted about 8 services and the apply has been running for over 15 minutes.
Changing screens are well over 1 minute
GUI and Apply is S L O W. Can't figure out why.

Can you PM over a system profile? From the Nagios XI GUI, you can gather a profile via Admin -> System Profile -> Download Profile.

I rebuilt from scratch and it is snappy again. Unfortunately, time was critical.
