Cant stop UP notifications when host was never down!

Please someone help me, this is driving me insane!!
I have looked through the various configs but I cant see anything that is wrong.

This is what the mails look like:

***** Nagios *****

Notification Type: PROBLEM
Host: servername
State: UP
Address: x.x.x.x
Info: PING OK - Packet loss = 0%, RTA = 1.03 ms

There is nothing wrong with the host and it was not down at any stage. This is happening with *all* of my hosts so im assuming I have configured something incorrectly.
Im not loving having 40+ emails coming through each hour to let me know my hosts are all up!!
Anyone have any ideas?

Double check your notifcation_options, somewhere on either the service or host and contact templates you have configured it to send a notification for ok statuses
