If a box is down, is there a way to acknowledge the box is down, but also be able to acknowledge all the services on that box as being down (even if some of them haven't noticed they're down yet?)
I don't want to use the "schedule downtime" option, because I don't know how long it'll be down.
Thanks in advance
Ben
PS. I meant to say I'm currently using Nagios version 4.3.1
Acknowledge a down host, and all the services on that host?

I'm not sure if there's a newer version, but please let us know if https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/U ... er/details does not work for you.

if the plugin doesn't work you might be able to create something custom using the available cgi for commands - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ml#cmd_cgi

Thanks @tacolover101!
For clarity, he gave you a link to Nagios 3. The Nagios 4 doc is https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ml#cmd_cgi (very similar docs)
