Disabled checks: icon not showing

Post by igae1 »

Hi, in Nagios Core, when a service active check was disabled, it showed a red cross icon in the dashboard (disabled.gif) i don't see it in the nagiosXI dashboard. Disabled notifications are showing OK .

Any way to get it working?
thanks in advance

In Nagios XI, when Active Checks are disabled, it will show 4 green arrows pointing to each other which is the icon that shows the check is passive only.
You can use that indicator to display that Active Checks are disabled, would that work for you?

Thanks for ur quick response; I dont see that icon, as I also have passive checks disabled.
Is there any workaround to show an icon with both checks (active and passive) disabled?
Thx again

No, there is not a workaround to display the status in XI. That would have to be a feature request.
