Using an email address from an Exchange server

Post by Hauru »

Hello everyone,

I am trying to configure notifications on Nagios.
Currently, I can send an email to my personal address (@gmail.com) but I can not send an email to my profesionnal address (@mycompany.com).

The email is sent to the address, but I do not receive it. I think it's a matter with my exchange server or my firewall, that's not really the issue here.

What I would like to do is, instead of sending an email from nagios@myserver, I would like to use an email from my exchange server (for exemple my profesionnal email). I think it is possible to use nagios@mycompany.com by configuring nagios.cfg by replacing “admin_email=nagios@localhost” by “admin_email=nagios@mycompany” but it is not what I would like to do (and it doesn't work ...)

So, do you think it is possible?
If yes, where should I put the login to my email?

Thank you, I hope it is clear.
