I did PM you in regards to this, however I did check on the logserver and we don't want to spend any extra money. Is there another way you can recommend doing this?

lmiltchev wrote:The first step is to test the script from the command line. If it works, you can create a new command and service check in XI by following the steps, outlined in the document below:

Hi This script does work from the command line it has been tested many times. How and what do I need to do to get this to work with Nagios? I looked at this documents link you placed earlier, however I do not know what plugin to use for this. I am running Nagios XI on a Centos linux box.

I found a plugin called "check_asterisk.pl and have downloaded it then uploaded it to Nagios XI. From the server I ran this to locate it.

Code: Select all

[root@nag downloads]# find / -name check_asterisk.pl
/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_asterisk.pl
/usr/local/nrdp/plugins/AIX/check_asterisk.pl
/usr/local/nrdp/plugins/Generic/check_asterisk.pl
/usr/local/nrdp/plugins/SunOS/check_asterisk.pl
How do I use this with my two server that are running FreePbx? The server are in the XI console with ping check enabled only.

Thanks
