Hi,
Is it possible to bulk change the check command in all host templates?
For some reason this didn't import when I ran the config tool so now all my Host Checks are at pending.
Thanks,

Re: Bulk Modify Check Command in all Host Templates?
Hello @peakyblinder,
In the XI Enterprise Edition, there is a bulk modifications tools that can change the check command in any services?
For instance, I was able to change some services in various hosts, to all use the check_ping command with specific thresholds. After saving changes and applying configuration.
Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks @kyang for the help and that would be the tool to use to do this.

Re: Bulk Modify Check Command in all Host Templates?
Hi,
Yes I'm looking at that too but I cannot see how to add a check command to each host template. I can add a check command to all host/services/hostgroups and servicegroups but not templates.
The bulk template option just seems to update which templates hosts and or services will use.
Thanks,

The Bulk Modify Tool doesn't have the option to Bulk Mod templates so those would have to be done manually.
Check your templates and see if they have a generic template added to it and then you may only have to edit the generic one and not all the specific ones.
