Sure , I tried for T-Mobile and not received the message. I will try for AT&T number and keep you posted.

We tried all the options by using AT&T , Cricket and T-Mobile with 10 dig valid phone to test and see whether we are receiving notification text message however we didn't received the notification text message. :(

Does your Nagios Server have connectivity to the Internet? Does it have to go through a proxy?

yes , our Nagios server is our client network and also it has internet connectivity. Thanks.

And, so we know which logs to ask for, can you tell us show mail is setup in Admin -> Manage Email Settings

The we hopefully will be able to see if the messages are getting rejected from the mail server (either SMTP of the phpmailer)

Please find the attached Mail setting screen shot. We are not facing any issue on receiving email. Only we are facing issue on receiving text message to our mobile.

You will likely have to tail you log messages while trying to send a message to someone that has the Mobile Text Notification Methods setup.

Code: Select all
tail -f /var/log/maillog

Or wherever the log is on your system

Try to send a notification, you should see the attempt in the log file, and any error message you get back from the server...

NOTE: Mail messages may fail to be delivered if your XI server does not have a valid DNS name.

Are you 100% sure you have a valid public hostname on the XI server?

Otherwise, I can see no other reason why they would be refusing the connection.

Can you confirm how to valid the public hostname on XI server? and is there any proxy setting for text message alone and please help us to with the steps to check those.
