added new contact, alerts are not being sent.
Contact only, not a user.

Are other contacts getting the alerts? If so, it's likely configuration problem on the contact's Common Settings or Alert Settings tab. If nobody is getting alerts for the host/service then it's likely you'll need to take a look at the Check Settings or Alert Settings on the host/service check. https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf may help you identify what is missing/misconfigured.
