Nagios Tray Monitor Yellow ICON

Post by kwhogster »

Guys

They locked my prior question

https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... =7&t=45938

Got the app to work but it only shows the yellow icon as unknown !

Never GREEN RED or WARNING YELLOW

The link to the app is
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/A ... or/details

I would email the author but not on the page anywhere

Can someone download this and try it

Running this on a Windows 10 Professional Desktop

Thank you

Tom

If you follow the links from the Nagios Exchange, it will eventually take you to the maintainer of the current code at: https://sourceforge.net/u/ghjm/profile/

Nagios Enterprises does not provide support for third-party add-ons, so you'll have to figure out how to get in contact with the author to ask questions.

Sorry about closing your previous topic!

I downloaded this from SourceForge.

Thanks @eloyd for providing the link!

I'm not sure if this is green? Looks like yellow to me, but I did has a red Nagios when a few of my services were critical. Now they are all in OK state and it's still yellow.

I still don't see green, so yeah maybe contacting the owner is a better way of figuring out the issue. It hasn't been updated for a while either according to SourceForge.

This is when I have 1 critical service. It detects it and even makes sounds.

The link brings you to a different application.

This one launches your browser and takes you to the Nagios web page.

I like the other version that opens up right from the application.

Also the other one still does not change icons.

Any ideas here

These are still third party applications that you will need to contact their authors for support.

Thanks @eloyd!!

@kwhogster,

Sorry, I actually did try it out with the same icon you have that brings you straight to the Core UI.

There is an issue with the addon because I have all OK statues with hosts/services and the tray icon stays "yellow"

As eloyd suggested, please contact the author for his support on this issue.
