limit user host and services by contact group

I see that there is a mechanism to limit user access by linking a host to a contact. How do I do this with a contact group? I can't seem to make it work.

The best practice would be to define different contact groups that can be used to categorize your contacts, then assign these contact groups to your hosts or/and services. For more information on multi-tenancy in Nagios XI, please review the document below:

Note: Keep in mind that you can directly add contact/contact group to an object, but also you could have them inherited from a template. One interesting scenario would be inheriting contact groups that are added to hosts via "implied inheritance".
