How to monitor linux & windows services like sshd by ncpa

Hi Team,

Can anybody help with the how to monitor the linux and windows server serivces like sshd and ncpa listener iptables,ntpd using ncpa. what is the process to monitor the services for windows too.

A great thing about NCPA is the Web GUI. You can use the API to look and create Nagios checks.

I guess the main question is --> Are you checking these services as active checks or passive checks?

I'll post a few screenshots so you can visualize it instead of reading all text.

You can also do all of this using the NCPA Wizard in Nagios XI to create all of the checks you want.
