The Nagios XI 'upgrade' script assumes that /sbin is in the path. In fact, several Nagios scripts and documents make the assumption that various programs are in the path. At a minimum make certain /usr/bin and /sbin are in your path before executing commands and scripts referenced in the upgrade doc http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ctions.pdf

This is correct of the upgrade script.

Our current ./fullinstall script should make sure of this on new installs.
