Hello,
We have cycled our passwords on our ESXi hosts, and now Nagios is complaining about connection issues. I don't want to remove the checks so I can retain the historical information. Is there a way to update the username and password that the Nagios VMware monitoring wizard uses to create the checks in XI?
Thanks in advance!

Re: change VMware monitoring wizard connection credentials
The VMware wizard stores the username and password in this file.
Save the changes and reschedule a check in Nagios XI. It may take some time in case it still fails. Wait a few minutes and then check again.

Code: Select all
/usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/vmware/vcenter_nagios_local_auth.txt
