Is this system behind a proxy server?

If so make sure you have the following modifications specifically to the yum.conf

No, it is not behind any proxy server, system is on it's separate infrastructure VLAN and did do successful update of December 2017 and no changes have been made to network since then.

Please, run the following commands and show the output:

If you are having connectivity issues, try fixing them, then run:

yum update -y

After this, try upgrading Nagios XI from the command line by running:
