Windows host add on nagios server

Post by alidar »

Hello
I am trying to add windows host on Nagios server.

When I opened localhost/nagios

I can see here Windows host under Hosts option and the status of this server is UP.

But when I click on Services option, there all serviecs status are pending. Status information is `NSclient- Error: Invalid password`

You can see snapshop.

Please tell me how I can put the NSclient password in Nagios server. thanks

You would edit the check_command line in the service definitions for these services.

It is different for every user, you need to create your own configuration file using the password you are using in NSClient++

If you are new to Nagios, It may be easier to try Nagios XI which has a UI based configuration and an easy configuration wizard for these
