NNA disk space
NNA disk space
I have tried several times to expand the disk space on our NNA server to no avail. Each time I end up reverting the VM to the previous day to recover it. Instead I am willing to trim back the data being collected to keep the system as-is till I can get a new VM spun up, config exported and imported into the new appliance (with more disk space allocated) but I am not seeing the disk space being recovered when I trim back the retention, even after a reboot of the NNA appliance. Is there a tool or cron to run that will do the trimming of the data on disk other than me going into each collected item and hand-removing old data?

Re: NNA disk space
You need to stop then start the source you modified and it should remove the excess data.
Re: NNA disk space
Ok thanks. I'll give it some more time to see if it clears up.

Re: NNA disk space
You are going ot have to proactively restart them... Easiest way to do them all at once is run thisswethog wrote:Ok thanks. I'll give it some more time to see if it clears up.
Code: Select all
service nagiosna restartRe: NNA disk space
All is good now, thanks. This will get me through for a bit till I can get a new VM built with more disk space up front.

I am glad your issue has been resolved! Is it ok if we lock this topic?
