google maps question

Post by benhank »

I am thinking of using google maps. Before I proceed I have a question.
we don't use parent child relationships. We group our hosts using hostgroups with the names of the locations for our sites.
For example:
the Boston hg has 1500 objects
the New York hg has 100 objects
ect
Would google maps work for me?

Hello, @benhank.
I don't think it will work very well. The map will not just show 2 locations -> in Boston and New York, but you will actually have 1500 pins on the map. This could be a good feature request allow a user to display hostgroups on a map instead of individual hosts.
