Bulk Modifications Tool Change Templates Question

From XI bulk modify template tool, I want to know about the Host Inheritance the Options of "+", "NULL", "Standard" concrete application, could you tell me who can instruct me?

For templates these have no affect, I am going to file a bug report to have them removed from the interface.

If you were changing a single config option, this would tell nagios to use additive inheritance (+) or cancel inheritance (null)
