Adding monitoring contacts to multiple services

Can a single contact OR contact group be added to multiple services or hosts after the service/host has already been defined?

For instance, ServerA has already been set up with 20 services, and alerts go to the whole sysadmin team. However, we also want alerts for ServerA to go to another support team. We need to add ServerA_support_contact_group in to ALL the checks related to ServerA.

It's actually a much larger set of services, otherwise I'd just do it by hand. I have found no way to, say, select all services and add a new contact group.

One way to do is to re-run the wizard, using exactly the same host name and add the second contact group. This ways, your contacts will be added to all services at once. This is probably faster than editing all services one by one in the Core Config Manager.

Currently, you can "bulk add" contacts only to many hosts and services but we are working on "bulk adding" contact groups as well. Let us know if you are interested in testing the new CCM.

I actually have the CCM Beta for bulk activating and deactivating already from another thread where I was offered access to it. I found this option in the Bulk Operations section of CCM Beta and was just coming back to update the thread.

If there is a latest version of this Beta, I'd like to install it. The version I'm running is about 1 month old.

The latest version is: Nagios CCM 0.4

You can view your version by going to: Configure->Advanced Configuration->Nagios CCM BETA or Admin->System Extensions->Manage Components.

Hello, I am very interested in this tool. I've been trying to find the correct place in the CCM to modify on our TEST system to easily change contacts and/or contact groups for 200+ services all in one shot.. I found it but I'd have to write scripts to do what I want. ugh -- how is this tool coming along ? I'd love to test what you have if possible.
