Creating Recurring Downtime Schedule

Post by lyokosh »

In the XI Recurring Downtime window, you can enter the following criteria:
Start Time
Duration
Valid Months
Valid Weekdays
Valid Days of the month
All of the above information is good if you schedule the downtime on a specific month, day of the week, or a specific day of a month.
Our Linux servers are rebooted using a schedule such as a second Tuesday of the month, or a first Thursday of the month, etc. Is there an option for this type of schedule? If not, is there a possibility to have this function available in a future release of Nagios XI?

The crireria is additinve, they must match all.

For things like the first Thursday of the month, select Thursday and in the "Valid Days of the month" enter

Code: Select all

1,2,3,4,5,6,7
second Tuesday of the month, select Tuesday and in the "Valid Days of the month" enter

Code: Select all
