Hello,
I have set up commands that send e-mails. There was an initial problem in receiving them.
My mail support group told me "Any message sent through our smtp gateways must have a valid from wisc.edu address."
Setting the "from" e-mail address in the command worked.
When I run the send test for the nagiosadmin user, I see this in the mail log:
Oct 1 13:05:46 winston.doit.wisc.edu postfix/smtp[23093]: 0039C211767: to=<******@doit.wisc.edu>, relay=smtp.wiscmail.wisc.edu[144.92.197.138]:25, delay=0.42, delays=0.03/0/0.02/0.36, dsn=2.5.0, status=sent (250 2.5.0 Ok)
Is there a way to set the From address for this kind of e-mail?
Earl

You should be able to set the From address in Admin -> Manage Email Settings
