Graph explorer custom time range from xx to now

Post by WillemDH »

Hello,

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a feature request to add an option to the graph explorer to be able to select a custom time range from date x to 'now'. The max timerange seems to be last 365 days, but I would like add a graph to a dashboard of the last 2 years or longer.

Grtz

Willem

The custom time period is meant to be for inputting custom time periods unless I'm misunderstanding what you're looking for?

Are you just saying that you want a easier way to populate the To input box with the current date/time? Like a Now button or something?

Sean,

What we would like is to be able to create 'last 2/3/4 year' multistacked graphs. When a custom timeperiod is choosen, the graphs doesnt update when time passes. A 'now' button would be cool, but it has to stay 'now' when adding it to a dashboard.

That makes sense, thank you for clarifying, I've requested that the feature be added:

Code: Select all

FR: XI - Graph Explorer Multi-Stacked Graphs (and others) - Add an option for a rolling timeperiod (like 2 years ago until now) so that the dashlets follow the time as it passes instead of a static start/end time
Am I okay to lock the topic?
