Only Host Down

Post by fcambres »

After a couple of hours a single host loses the connection with the nagios server, the rest of the computers that belong to the same network continue up. Restart the network services and the host answers again.-

Are you restarting the service on the host or the Nagios server?

Restart the network services of the nagios server and the host replies again. I have a host from the same network and never lose the connection, only that host.

What type of check is Nagios performing on the host that is losing connection?

What output are you getting?

Can you run the plugin from the command line after it stops responding and get the same output?
