BPI access
Hello, I am running v5.5.8 64-bit / VM / CentOS 7
I see documentation that says BPI comes with Nagios XI by default.
When I select BPI from the Home menu, and select Create New BPI Group, It says "The website cannot display the page".

Re: BPI access
Can you verify in Admin -> System Settings you have a correct URL in the Program URL
If everything looks ok there can you right-click "Create New BPI Group" and copy the URL and post it here (obfuscating any sensitive data)

Re: BPI access
Hello,
I have https://<server name>.doit.wisc.edu/nagiosxi/
That works for https connections, also <server name>.doit.wisc.edu works.

Re: BPI access
Hello,
My backup and test servers have BPI working, but probably no one will use it there.
The Program URLs on the working servers have some differences with the production server, one uses and IP number, one uses an alias with http instead of https.
I tried changing the production server Progral URL by using an IP number, and alias DNS, and http instead of https, no luck.

Re: BPI access
Can you see any errors in the httpd error_log or ssl_error_log when clicking on that link?

Re: BPI access
No.
When I go to the page manually, it shows: Your session has timed out.

I'm a little confused, first the page was saying
what do you get?
Now it's sayingBitflogger wrote:"The website cannot display the page".
If you are logged in already and you navigate toBitflogger wrote:Your session has timed out.
Code: Select all

Hello,
When I used the Nagios XI interface, it said it could not display the page.
When I manually sent a browser to the URL, https://nagiosxi.doit.wisc.edu/nagiosxi ... dd&tab=add, it said "Your session has timed out."

This is strange, are you loading this in the same browser window where the session is established.Bitflogger wrote:When I manually sent a browser to the URL, https://nagiosxi.doit.wisc.edu/nagiosxi ... dd&tab=add, it said "Your session has timed out."

Scott,
Not so much strange as I do not know what I'm doing.
When I try to use http://MY SERVER/nagiosxi/includes/components/nagiosbpi/index.php?cmd=add&tab=add
I get a blank page. It also switches me to httpS.
