i have about 30 hosts monitored. on 4 of them, even though i can telnet that port from the nagios box, the port check appear to show that its down in the nagios UI.
tried several hosts, different ports.
any thoughts ?

Did we set them up for TCP or UDP? What is the error reported by Nagios?
