memory check alert shows more than 100% on physical server

Post by rnjie »

Hey all, i just set up nagios xi and am monitoring over 500 vm's currently using snmp, everything seems to work fine except when i added my physical servers, i et critical alerts saying memory is above 90% and 135% being used, i check on the server and the total memory is 5T and the free memory is 3T, why is nagios reporting the stats above 100%, is there a special plugin i need for memory checks on physical servers? see memory stats below of which i am getting critical alerts for

total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 5.9T 2.5T 3.3T 1.4G 87G 3.4T
Swap: 15G 0B 15G

Hello, @rnjie. Can you show me the exact snmp command you're using?
Can you also run it from the command line and show me the output?
