Hi,
Is possible to direct events into Nagios? I have old logs something like a network down or service critical.
Thanks.
Direct data into Nagios event?
Re: Direct data into Nagios event?
You'd like to import old logs into XI? Are these logs old nagios.log files? If so, you could copy them /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/. A lot of the reports in the Reports section of the UI use these to generate. If you do copy them over, make sure to name them appropriately - they use a specific timestamp format for their names. Run "ll /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/" to see current files in that directory, their permissions, and ownership settings.
