Hi,
How can we monitor remote locations/offices where the customer does not allow to install Nagios XI in their premises? For example; my Network Operation Center has installed Nagios XI and my customer wants to monitor their devices using Nagios XI. Customer is located remotely.
Are we able to use any Nagios recommended SNMP proxy/Jumphost or something to capture SNMP traps of the devices/Servers of the customer's network?
We can get the access to the jump host/Proxy and then we can pass those SNMP traps to Nagios XI.
May I know, is this doable and do you have a guide for such an implementation?
Regards
Chandana

Re: Monitor remote locations
Hi Chandama,
You should be able to set this up (e.g port forwarding of incoming snmp traps on the jump server) , however, we do not have any official guide on integrating with SNMP traps with a jump server or proxy.
Here's a link to the general documentation for setting up SNMP traps with Nagios XI.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
