Monitoring Fusion

Post by DFaught »

Does it make sense to use the Nagios Xi Server wizard to monitor a Fusion server? Would that even work? Is there some other better way to monitor Fusion?

I think it does. I would use Linux monitoring of some sort, either the NCPA or Linux monitoring wizard

Yes, we are already using the Linux monitoring wizard, but I am wondering about the additional processes that the "Nagios XI Server" wizard adds to that.

No, you cannot run the Nagios XI Server Wizard against the Fusion server because it isn't a Nagios XI server.

The only additions I would think you might want to add if you have not already are to make sure the httpd and mysqld services are running
