NCPA passive check with NRDP doesn't work in NagiosXI 5.6.4

NCPA passive check with NRDP doesn't work in NagiosXI 5.6.4

Hi,

I setup NCPA 2.1.7 in Windows 2012R2, sending passive check results to NRDP in NagiosXI 5.6.2.
It all works fine.

But, after upgrade to NagiosXI 5.6.4, the service status stops to receive update from NCPA.

I checked log file ( NCPA/var/log/ncpa_passive.log ), it filled with following lines:
2019-07-16 15:15:55,099:WARNING:nrdp:XML returned did not contain a message, or was malformed.
2019-07-16 15:16:55,506:WARNING:nrdp:XML returned did not contain a message, or was malformed.
2019-07-16 15:17:56,053:WARNING:nrdp:XML returned did not contain a message, or was malformed.
2019-07-16 15:18:56,319:WARNING:nrdp:XML returned did not contain a message, or was malformed.
2019-07-16 15:19:56,678:WARNING:nrdp:XML returned did not contain a message, or was malformed.

It exists even in a fresh installed NagiosXI 5.6.4.

I know the NRDP component is upgraded in 5.6.4.

Is there any way to resolve this problem?

I was able to recreate the issue. Our developers are looking into this as we speak. I will get back to you as soon as I hear back from our developers. Thank you for reporting this issue!

Hi,

After upgrade from 5.6.4 to 5.6.5, it's ok now.
NRDP can receive NCPA passive check.
