Nagios XI and Nagios Fusion

Currently we have Licensed Nagios XI and we are planning for Nagios Fusion. i have some questions on that

1. can we have host Nagios XI and Nagios fusion on same servers?
2. can we Integrate both XI and Fusion?
3. What are the requirements to integrate Xi and Fusion?
4. Hardware and Software requirements for Fusion

1. can we have host Nagios XI and Nagios fusion on same servers?

No, not only that your Fusion may not work as expected, but also your Fusion instance won't be supported.

Installation Prerequisites
Important: Nagios Enterprises highly recommends and will only support installing Nagios Fusion on a newly installed, "clean" system (a bare minimal install with nothing else installed or configured). Attempting to install Nagios Fusion on a pre-existing system with other applications already installed can cause the Nagios Fusion installation process to fail, critical system components and settings (e.g. database servers) to be modified in a way that negatively affects other applications, and previously installed applications to be automatically upgraded or removed. While installing Fusion on a system with other applications is possible, it is not recommended due to the possible interactions and complexity of multiple components that are required for Nagios Fusion to function. If you choose to ignore these warnings, you do so at your own risk.

2. can we Integrate both XI and Fusion?

Yes, you can integrate Nagios XI, Nagios Core, and Nagios Log Server to Fusion. Please review our official document on managing fused servers here:

3. What are the requirements to integrate Xi and Fusion?

The requirements are listed in the document above. All and all, you can integrate any XI to Fusion, but the underlying Nagios Core must by newer than 4.0.7. Also, in order to use the fusekey, you would need to be running Nagios XI 5.4 or newer.
