Dear support,
we would like to use "Free Variables" function to store a password at the host level and use it for many services.
But we noticed that even a non-admin user can see it in clear from the interface.
Is there any option to hide it?
Thank you for your attention

Re: How hide Free Variables for non-admin users
This is a very useful feature and I have made an immediate modification which at least will allow you to disable the tabs on the status detail pages (won't display for any users), but they will still be visible if you give access to the CCM.
Install attached zip through Admin -> Manage Components
Then on the same page you can go to the settings for "Free Variable Tab" and uncheck the "Enable Free Variable Tab " checkbox.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
