I stand corrected. We do have an SNMP Trap Sender built into Nagios XI.
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf"
I checked the above URL. Seems it is match with my requirement. However i need to clarify below points. Please assist.
1. Is it possible to monitor all the pop up alarms in each hosts.
2. we have configured 300 hosts & 5000 services in our Nagios system. Hope no any limitations & can monitor all the alarms via above SNMP method

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
1. Yes, you can configure this for all hosts and services.
2. The limitation is going to be pretty high. SNMP travels over UDP, which has about a third of the overhead of TCP. The limitation will be as fast as your systems can send and receive network data.

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
Thank you for the update.
As per your feedback, we can monitor all the alarms from external platform(3rd party system) via SNMP protocol.
Please let me know how to create a MIB file for above monitoring requirement.
Note: In the config window, there are 2 MIB files. But i am not sure whether it is compatible with my requirement or not.
System extention-->Manage component-->SNMP Trap Sender
NAGIOS-NOTIFY-MIB.txt
NAGIOS-ROOT-MIB.txt

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
Hi Team,
I will explain my requirement again for more understanding.
We have implemented around 300 hosts with Nagios core system & successfully tested the Nagios XI for migrating all hosts/services to it. After migrating hosts to Nagios XI, we need to share monitoring with other 3rd party system for monitoring all systems via their platform.
I checked the provided SNMP solution & seems it is not possible to apply for our requirement due to shared the alarms only for status change.
Hope you are understood & feedback for a solution.
If you need any more clarification, please let me know.
Thank you

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
If I understand correctly, you want Nagios XI to send notifications to different systems. This could be different depending on the server or service being monitored.
The easiest way to achieve this is to configure contacts with different notification methods that target specific external systems. You are going to need to invest time in developing each method for each external systems. We have some documentation that explains how to do this for some more common external systems out there, this should be enough to point you in the right direction as you have an exact example to follow.

Does this help get the solution you are after?

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
Sorry for inconvenient dear
I need to share all the generated alarms to 3rd party system. 3rd party team can be monitored all the alarms from their system as well. And also more understanding, if Nagios monitoring team can not access their monitoring window, 3rd party team can monitor same alarms from their system GUI.
We need to update in 3rd party system like below details.
1. Newly generated alarms
2. Once cleared alarms, Need to update & cleared the alarm
3. Warning to critical alarm changes ...etc
Hope you understood the my requirement with new details.
Please send me the possibility.
Actually we are already using the notifications for sending SMSs & Emails to each host owners.

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
I'm certain that the steps I previously provided will meet your requirements.
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf
Or perhaps ship the logs to a log monitoring system that can analyse the alarms that were sent.
There is no exact solution to do what you require, you need to spend the time playing with different solutions and find what best works for you.
Other wise you may need to look at Multi Tenancy:Box293 wrote:If I understand correctly, you want Nagios XI to send notifications to different systems. This could be different depending on the server or service being monitored.

Re: Nagios XI NRPE
Hi team,
Currently we have implemented the Nagios core 3.2.1 with around 300 hosts.
What is the maximum host capacity for that version.
Also tell me the service capacity as well.
