i am getting the alerts on our vmware cluster about all the services that the plugin times out but after 5-10 minutes it comes to normal without doing anything.

can u tell me wats breaking it so that we can fix it.

on the esxi side we see that the account locked out due to the max number of login exceeded from the root account but afaik we are using the nagios user to access the vcenter from nagios.

Can you provide some details on which plugin and it's version that you are using to check the VMWare clusters?

i um using vma 6.7 and vmware virtualization wizard for the vmware cluster monitor.
