Hello,
We recently modified some host/service names that were members to BPI groups created awhile back. We did not realize until a recent incident that the BPI groups had to be updated with the new members names and so forth we weren't alerted because the BPI groups were broken. My question is if there is a way way to prevent a host/service name change from breaking a BPI group's member connection? Otherwise, we'll have to always remember to update the BPI groups with the new members if we edit the name of a host or service.

Re: BPI Group - Host/Service Member Name Change
We are aware of the issue and working on removing this limitation in BPI. I expect this problem to be fixed in one of the future releases of Nagios XI.
For the time being, you would need to remember to update the BPI groups with the new members (in case you rename them).

Thank you! I'll keep my eye out on the next few releases. This can be closed.
